Adani Jabil AI Platform: GW-Scale Data Center Infrastructure
Status: Strategic Alliance Announced / Operational Framework Active (June 2026) | Location: Ahmedabad
Project Overview
The unveiling of the strategic alliance between Adani Enterprises and Jabil Inc. on June 15, 2026, marks a major turning point in India's technology ecosystem. It shifts the country's role from merely hosting physical hyperscale sites to directly manufacturing the core hardware that runs them. Designed as a vertically integrated manufacturing platform, this multi-gigawatt-scale project aims to ease the severe supply-chain bottlenecks slowing down AI data center builds across Asia, Europe, and North America. Financially and strategically, this venture links directly with Adani Group's larger $100 billion investment master plan, which aims to roll out 5 GW of green-energy-powered data centers by 2035. By combining Jabil's sixty years of high-end manufacturing experience and hyperscale client relationships with Adani’s massive domestic industrial zones, ports, and green energy grids, the platform is built to capitalize on a global data center market expected to pass $3 trillion over the next seven years. From a technical standpoint, the manufacturing facilities will use advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and automated robotics lines to produce high-density, liquid-cooled AI racks, enterprise servers, and advanced storage hardware. Crucially, the production lines extend deep into critical "grey space" power and thermal management products. The platform will produce large-scale coolant distribution units (CDUs), power distribution units (PDUs), industrial-grade transformers, high-voltage switchgears, and isolated bus bars. This extensive setup gives data center operators a single, unified source for entire white space deployments. By powering these manufacturing centers with local renewable energy and placing them near major shipping lines, the Adani-Jabil partnership establishes India as a leading global exporter of high-end, sovereign AI infrastructure.
