AirTrunk SGP1 Singapore Hyperscale Campus

Status: Fully Operational   |   Location: 22 Loyang Drive, Pasir Ris, Singapore 508970

Project Overview

The AirTrunk SGP1 Singapore Hyperscale Campus represents AirTrunk’s inaugural flagship facility in Southeast Asia, strategically located on a 1.5-hectare site in Loyang, Pasir Ris, Singapore. Positioned close to the Changi North Cable Landing Station, the multi-story campus delivers more than 78 MW of critical IT capacity across approximately 20,000 square meters of technical whitespace. Designed to support global public cloud platforms, hyperscale systems, and enterprise workloads, SGP1 represents one of Singapore’s largest independent carrier-neutral data centers and provides strategically located infrastructure for the region’s rapidly expanding cloud and digital economy.

Designed for Hyperscale and Cloud Workloads

The SGP1 campus is engineered to accommodate hyperscale cloud computing, enterprise applications, and high-density digital workloads requiring substantial electrical, cooling, and network infrastructure. Its 78+ MW critical IT capacity provides significant scalability for global cloud service providers and hyperscale customers deploying large-scale compute environments. The facility’s multi-story design enables efficient use of Singapore’s constrained land availability while providing approximately 20,000 square meters of technical whitespace for cloud platforms, enterprise systems, digital services, and increasingly demanding compute workloads. Its carrier-neutral architecture also provides customers with flexible access to multiple telecommunications and connectivity providers.

Large-Scale Infrastructure and Economic Impact

With more than 78 MW of critical IT capacity across approximately 20,000 square meters of technical whitespace, SGP1 represents a substantial addition to Singapore’s digital infrastructure ecosystem. As AirTrunk’s first major Southeast Asian facility, the campus establishes a strategic foundation for the company’s regional expansion while increasing the availability of hyperscale capacity in one of Asia’s most important technology markets. The development supports the continued growth of cloud computing, enterprise digitization, and data-intensive businesses while reinforcing Singapore’s position as a major regional hub for digital infrastructure and international connectivity.

Strategic Connectivity in Singapore

Located in Loyang, Pasir Ris, SGP1 benefits from its proximity to the Changi North Cable Landing Station, providing strategically important access to international subsea connectivity infrastructure. Its location within Singapore’s established telecommunications ecosystem enables hyperscale and enterprise customers to connect efficiently with regional and global networks while supporting low-latency access to major Southeast Asian markets. The combination of carrier-neutral infrastructure, substantial IT capacity, and proximity to critical subsea cable infrastructure makes SGP1 an important digital gateway for cloud and enterprise services. The campus further strengthens Singapore’s role as a leading Asia-Pacific connectivity and hyperscale data center hub.
