Atomdata Moscow-2 Data Center is a major high-density digital infrastructure facility located at Dorozhnaya Ulitsa, 9с1 in Southern Moscow, Russia, developed and operated by Atomdata, the digital infrastructure division associated with Rosenergoatom and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation. The facility is positioned to support large-scale enterprise computing, sovereign cloud services, government workloads, and organizations requiring secure and resilient data processing infrastructure within the Moscow metropolitan market. Designed around Tier IV reliability principles, Moscow-2 incorporates a fault-tolerant infrastructure architecture intended to maintain critical operations during equipment failures, maintenance activities, or disruptions affecting individual infrastructure components. The site is reported to have approximately 36 MW of total utility capacity, supporting around 25 MW of critical IT load and enabling the deployment of more than 2,000 high-density server racks. This substantial electrical and rack capacity makes the facility suitable for demanding workloads, including cloud computing, enterprise applications, data-intensive services, artificial intelligence, and other high-performance computing requirements. Moscow-2 also forms part of Atomdata’s broader strategy to provide domestic digital infrastructure for customers requiring localized data storage, processing, and cloud capabilities. Its sovereign cloud and secure data-management capabilities are particularly relevant to organizations operating workloads subject to Russian data-residency, security, and regulatory requirements. The facility benefits from access to high-voltage regional power infrastructure, supporting the large electrical requirements associated with high-density computing environments. Its location in Southern Moscow also places the data center within a major metropolitan connectivity and business ecosystem, providing access to telecommunications networks and enterprise customers. By combining high power capacity, extensive rack deployment, fault-tolerant engineering, sovereign cloud capabilities, and metropolitan connectivity, Atomdata Moscow-2 represents an important component of Russia’s growing high-density and sovereign digital infrastructure landscape.
