Project Overview
CDC Data Centres’ Maddington Campus in Perth is set to become Western Australia’s largest AI and advanced technology data centre campus, delivering more than 200 MW of scalable, high-density IT capacity to meet the rapidly growing demand for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and mission-critical digital infrastructure. Strategically located to strengthen Australia's sovereign digital capabilities, the campus is purpose-built to support AI supercomputing; government agencies; defence programs, including the AUKUS ecosystem; research institutions; and operators of critical national infrastructure. Designed for next-generation GPU-intensive workloads, the campus incorporates advanced liquid cooling technologies alongside CDC’s proprietary closed-loop waterless cooling system, significantly reducing water consumption while enabling efficient thermal management for high-density AI racks. The facility is engineered with resilient power infrastructure, multiple redundant electrical systems, and highly secure physical and cyber protection measures that meet the stringent requirements of government and defence customers.
