Project Overview

Centersquare Minneapolis MSP1 Campus is an enterprise-grade colocation and interconnectivity facility located at 4450 Dean Lakes Boulevard in Shakopee, Minnesota, serving organizations across the Greater Twin Cities region with resilient data center infrastructure and network connectivity. The campus encompasses approximately 50,000 square feet of total facility space, including 28,900 square feet of raised floor whitespace designed to accommodate enterprise servers, network equipment, cloud infrastructure, and other mission-critical IT deployments. The facility provides 4.0 MW of critical IT capacity and is supported by an expandable 10.0 MW utility feed, providing additional power availability for future capacity requirements and customer expansion. Built to Uptime Institute Tier III standards, the campus incorporates resilient infrastructure designed to support continuous operations and planned maintenance without disrupting critical workloads. The facility also holds LEED Gold certification, reflecting its focus on energy-efficient building and infrastructure practices. Its positioning above a 500-year flood plain adds another layer of site resilience by reducing exposure to major flood-related risks. Network connectivity is a key component of the campus, with direct access to carrier-neutral cloud on-ramps and regional fiber networks supporting connections to cloud platforms, telecommunications providers, enterprises, and distributed IT environments.
