Project Overview

Cologix MTL8-H is a 205,000 sq ft LEED Gold-certified Scalelogix hyperscale edge data center located at 7350 Rue Frederick Banting on the western side of Technoparc Montréal in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Delivering 21 MW of power capacity, the facility supports high-density computing deployments of up to 30 kW per cabinet, providing infrastructure for enterprise, cloud, and digital service workloads. Its location within Montreal’s established technology corridor positions MTL8-H to serve organizations requiring scalable computing capacity and access to the region’s extensive telecommunications ecosystem. The facility is powered by 99.9% clean renewable hydroelectricity supplied by Hydro-Québec, supporting energy-conscious data center operations and contributing to the low-carbon profile of Quebec’s digital infrastructure market. MTL8-H integrates with Cologix’s Metro Connect dark fiber ring, linking the facility to the region’s principal carrier hotel, MTL3, located at 1250 René-Lévesque West in downtown Montreal. This connectivity architecture supports access to major network providers and cloud platforms, enabling customers to establish direct cloud on-ramps to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, and Oracle. The Metro Connect integration provides a foundation for low-latency connectivity between enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, and regional network hubs. Its Scalelogix design supports high-density deployments while accommodating the connectivity and infrastructure requirements of modern digital workloads.
