The CyrusOne SAT1 facility, located at 9999 Westover Hills Boulevard in San Antonio, Texas, operates as an enterprise colocation and high-performance computing hub serving organizations with demanding mission-critical infrastructure requirements. The facility encompasses approximately 110,000 square feet within a heavy-concrete building, including around 44,000 square feet of dedicated 36-inch raised-floor white space designed to accommodate a wide range of enterprise, government, and high-density computing deployments. SAT1 provides approximately 9 megawatts of critical IT capacity, with infrastructure designed to scale toward 20 megawatts through additional electrical substations and capacity expansion. Utility power is supplied through redundant CPS Energy substation feeds, while static uninterruptible power supply configurations provide conditioned backup power to critical systems. Dedicated onsite emergency standby diesel generators with additional fuel reserves further strengthen operational continuity during utility outages and extended grid disruptions. Designed with a strong focus on reliability, physical security, and operational resilience, SAT1 incorporates protective infrastructure including hurricane shutters and impact-resistant glazing to help safeguard critical equipment and personnel against severe weather and external hazards. The facility also utilizes closed-loop chilled-water cooling systems designed around net-zero water consumption objectives, reducing dependence on freshwater resources while maintaining stable operating conditions for high-density computing environments. Strategically positioned west of downtown San Antonio, CyrusOne SAT1 functions as a carrier-neutral connectivity center with access to multiple telecommunications providers and network operators. Customers can utilize diverse fiber cross-connects, direct cloud connectivity, and low-latency interconnection pathways to connect with regional and national digital networks. Its combination of scalable power capacity, resilient infrastructure, advanced cooling, physical protection, and extensive connectivity makes SAT1 an important enterprise digital infrastructure asset within the San Antonio technology ecosystem.
