Digital Realty PAR9 Data Center (Paris Digital Park / Interxion PAR9)
Status: Operational / Active Capacity Phasing | Location: 3 Avenue Marcel Cachin, 93120 La Courneuve, France (Paris Digital Park Campus)
Project Overview
Digital Realty’s PAR9 is a premier four-story carrier-neutral data center strategically located within the Paris Digital Park campus in La Courneuve, one of France’s leading digital infrastructure hubs. Spanning approximately 104,090 square feet (9,670 m²), the facility delivers up to 19 MW of critical IT capacity and is purpose-built to support enterprise IT, hyperscale cloud deployments, artificial intelligence (AI), and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. PAR9 forms part of Digital Realty’s highly interconnected Paris metro platform, which consists of 13 strategically located data centers linked through a resilient, sub-millisecond dark fiber ring, enabling seamless workload distribution and ultra-low-latency connectivity across the region. The facility offers carrier-neutral access to more than 90 telecommunications carriers, internet service providers (ISPs), and network operators, creating a rich interconnection ecosystem for enterprises, cloud providers, financial institutions, and content delivery networks. Customers also benefit from direct connectivity to France-IX, one of Europe’s leading internet exchange points, providing high-performance, low-latency access to domestic and international networks. Designed for next-generation digital infrastructure, PAR9 incorporates high-efficiency closed-loop liquid-to-chip cooling technology, enabling support for high-density GPU clusters, AI training, machine learning, and other compute-intensive applications while improving energy efficiency and sustainability. Backed by resilient power infrastructure, advanced physical security, and scalable colocation capabilities, Digital Realty PAR9 serves as a critical digital gateway for organisations seeking reliable, future-ready infrastructure in one of Europe’s largest digital markets. Its strategic location, extensive connectivity ecosystem, AI-ready cooling architecture, and resilient design make PAR9 a key component of Digital Realty’s Paris campus and an important hub for digital transformation across France and Europe.
