Project Overview

Enovum Data Centers MTL01 is a 40,000 sq ft high-density colocation and high-performance computing (HPC) facility located at 3195 Chemin Bedford in central Montreal, Quebec. Acquired by Bit Digital in October 2024 as part of its acquisition of Enovum Data Centers, MTL01 serves as a flagship infrastructure hub designed for demanding artificial intelligence, machine learning, HPC, and enterprise cloud deployments. The facility provides customizable high-density cabinet layouts supporting workloads of up to 150 kW per rack, enabling customers to deploy advanced computing systems that require significantly greater power and cooling capacity than conventional enterprise environments. Its direct-to-chip liquid cooling integration supports efficient thermal management for high-performance processors, accelerators, and AI infrastructure, helping operators address the increasing density requirements of modern computing workloads. MTL01 operates on 100% clean hydroelectric power supplied by Hydro-Québec, supporting lower-carbon operations and aligning with Montreal’s renewable electricity environment. N+1 power and cooling redundancy provides additional resilience for critical systems, helping maintain operational continuity during equipment maintenance or component failure. The facility also offers direct carrier-neutral interconnectivity, allowing customers to connect with telecommunications providers, network operators, cloud platforms, and enterprise environments without being restricted to a single carrier ecosystem.
