Frankfurt Central IV Hyperscale Data Center 186MW Campus

Status: Under Construction   |   Location: Frankfurt, EU

Project Overview

The Frankfurt Central IV Hyperscale Data Center represents a flagship expansion into Europe’s premier digital infrastructure hub. As artificial intelligence and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads scale globally, Maincubes has initiated this next-generation greenfield campus to capture the surging demand from global hyperscalers, cloud service providers, and sovereign AI enterprises looking for secure infrastructure outside of traditional constraints. Spanning a strategic location within the highly connected Frankfurt internet exchange footprint, the facility is meticulously engineered to offer dense compute configurations while meeting Europe's stringent Energy Efficiency Act standards. The architecture of Frankfurt Central IV shifts away from legacy layouts to accommodate high-density server deployments natively. Built utilizing modular pre-cast concrete engineering, the campus minimizes construction time frames and localized environmental disruptions. Structurally, the facility is divided into multiple high-density data halls that feature specialized structural load-bearing tracking engineered to hold heavy AI accelerator racks. The physical layout emphasizes security and segregation, ensuring that multi-tenant cloud operations run independently with dedicated staging areas, strict biometric access perimeter controls, and localized technical operations rooms.
