Project Overview

The Nation Data Center Vélizy is an eco-responsible enterprise colocation facility located at 8 Avenue Morane Saulnier in Vélizy-Villacoublay, within the southern Paris technology hub in France’s Yvelines department. Operated by Nation Data Center, a subsidiary of the Highdea Group, the facility provides sovereign, highly secure, and low-carbon hosting solutions for enterprise IT environments, public sector institutions, and cloud service providers across the Île-de-France region. Its location within the Paris metropolitan technology ecosystem positions the facility to serve organizations that require dependable digital infrastructure close to major business and institutional centers. The focus on sovereign hosting is particularly relevant for customers seeking greater control over data location, infrastructure governance, and compliance with applicable data protection requirements. For public sector organizations and enterprises managing sensitive information, these considerations can influence decisions about where critical applications and workloads are hosted. The facility’s colocation model enables customers to use dedicated data center infrastructure without having to develop and operate their own facilities, supporting flexible IT deployment and the management of essential digital services. Its low-carbon positioning also aligns with growing industry attention to environmental performance and the need to reduce the footprint of digital infrastructure as cloud adoption and data processing requirements expand. By combining secure colocation, sovereign hosting, and an emphasis on environmental responsibility, Nation Data Center Vélizy addresses the needs of organizations seeking locally situated infrastructure within one of France’s most important economic and technology markets. The facility strengthens the availability of specialized hosting services in southern Paris, offering enterprises, public institutions, and cloud providers an infrastructure option focused on security, data sovereignty, and sustainability.
