Project Overview
NEXTDC’s P2 Perth (PER2) Data Center is a flagship Tier IV fault-tolerant hyperscale digital infrastructure facility located in the Perth CBD, Western Australia. Designed as a critical connectivity and computing hub for the region, P2 delivers more than 20 MW of scalable IT capacity across approximately 12,000 m² of technical space and supports up to 6,300 racks for enterprise, government, cloud, and hyperscale workloads. The facility serves as a strategic interconnection gateway for Western Australia, providing direct access to major subsea cable networks that connect Australia with key global markets across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Built to support mission-critical applications, P2 incorporates highly resilient power systems, advanced cooling infrastructure, and redundant network pathways to ensure continuous availability and operational reliability. The data center meets stringent ASIO T4 security requirements and Australian Government sovereign hosting standards, making it suitable for highly sensitive workloads across public sector, defense, finance, and regulated industries. P2 also provides direct cloud connectivity through dedicated on-ramps to leading platforms including AWS and Microsoft Azure, enabling customers to deploy hybrid cloud and digital transformation solutions with ultra-low latency performance.
