The QTS San Antonio 2 facility, located within the Texas Research Park technology corridor in San Antonio, Texas, represents a purpose-built enterprise colocation development engineered to support hyperscale cloud deployments, artificial intelligence workloads, high-performance computing, and other mission-critical digital applications. Spanning more than 200,000 square feet of heavy-concrete infrastructure, the multi-story facility provides approximately 32 megawatts of critical IT load capacity, offering substantial power density for modern computing environments and future technology requirements. Electrical infrastructure is supplied through dual dedicated substation feeds from CPS Energy, with integration into the broader ERCOT transmission network providing a resilient foundation for continuous operations. Static uninterruptible power supply configurations provide conditioned backup power to critical systems, while standby diesel emergency generators equipped with multi-day onsite fuel reserves are designed to maintain essential operations during prolonged utility disruptions. The facility incorporates advanced cooling infrastructure designed to support increasingly dense computing environments while reducing resource consumption. Zero-water evaporative cooling principles and closed-loop chiller systems help minimize dependence on water resources, while direct-to-chip liquid cooling capabilities provide efficient thermal management for high-density AI and accelerated computing deployments. QTS San Antonio 2 also functions as a carrier-neutral interconnection facility, offering diverse subterranean fiber entrances that provide resilient connectivity pathways into the campus. Direct cross-connect capabilities allow customers to establish connections with regional internet exchanges, telecommunications networks, and major public cloud providers across Texas. Strategically positioned within the San Antonio technology ecosystem, the facility combines substantial electrical capacity, resilient backup infrastructure, advanced cooling systems, and extensive network connectivity.
