Project Overview

Qu Ottawa 2 (OTT2) is a compact, ultra-secure sovereign enterprise data center located within the Qualicum Centre campus on Baseline Road in Nepean, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The facility provides approximately 1.6 MW of critical IT load and is designed around Tier III-aligned infrastructure requirements, supporting organizations that require resilient computing capacity and strong physical and operational security. Originally developed by Rogers Communications, the facility was subsequently acquired by Qu Data Centres under InfraRed Capital Partners, becoming part of a specialized infrastructure platform serving organizations with stringent data residency and security requirements. OTT2 is positioned to support Canadian federal government agencies, defense-adjacent technology organizations, regulated healthcare providers, and other enterprises that require Canadian-controlled data infrastructure. Its sovereign colocation model is designed to keep customer workloads and data within Canada, supporting organizations subject to Canadian data residency, privacy, and regulatory requirements. The facility incorporates N+1 redundant power and cooling systems to provide additional resilience for critical IT environments, while biometric security measures strengthen physical access controls and protect customer infrastructure.
