STACK Infrastructure DFW02 Campus Data Center 500MW Lancaster Texas

Status: Under Construction / Active Development   |   Location: East Belt Line Road, Lancaster, Dallas County, Texas 75146, USA

Project Overview

The STACK Infrastructure DFW02 Campus is a 500 MW hyperscale data center development located on 193 acres along East Belt Line Road in Lancaster, Texas, approximately 17 miles south of central Dallas. Developed by STACK Infrastructure, the campus is designed to provide large-scale computing capacity for artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud deployments. Its planned power capacity and substantial site footprint position the project to support growing demand for advanced digital infrastructure, particularly as businesses and technology providers expand their use of AI and other data-intensive applications. Located within South Dallas’s established power corridor, DFW02 is intended to accommodate customers with significant and evolving computing requirements.

The campus’s focus on scalable power and high-density infrastructure reflects the changing needs of hyperscale cloud operators and AI developers. AI and HPC workloads often require large numbers of powerful processors operating together, increasing the demand for dependable electricity and supporting cooling systems. Large campuses can provide space for multiple data center buildings and associated infrastructure, allowing capacity to be deployed in stages as customer needs develop. While the project is designed around a planned 500 MW capacity, specific IT load, grid allocation details, cooling technologies, and renewable energy arrangements have not been provided.

Lancaster’s location within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan region places the project in one of the major data center markets in the United States. The wider region supports a broad commercial and technology ecosystem, creating demand for cloud services, enterprise computing, and AI infrastructure. DFW02’s position south of Dallas also adds to the geographic spread of hyperscale development across the metropolitan area. With a 193-acre site and planned 500 MW capacity, the STACK Infrastructure DFW02 Campus represents a substantial addition to the region’s digital infrastructure pipeline. Its focus on flexible power and high-density computing is intended to support the next generation of cloud and AI workloads as demand for processing capacity continues to grow.
