Ashfield Land and TechRE are collaborating on a major digital infrastructure development at Blackdog, north of Aberdeen, Scotland. Ashfield Land is a UK property development and investment company with experience across commercial real estate, while TechRE is a specialist data center consultancy operating across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Their Blackdog partnership is advancing plans for a large AI and data center campus spanning approximately 200 acres. The proposed development is designed to leverage Scotland’s renewable energy resources, grid infrastructure, and international connectivity. Initial plans target around 600 MW of capacity, with potential for significantly larger expansion, positioning the project as an emerging hyperscale AI infrastructure hub.
