LG Uplus Corp is a South Korean telecommunications and digital infrastructure company that operates a large nationwide data center network. Its IDC business provides colocation, cloud, connectivity, security, and hosting services through 16 data centers across South Korea. Major facilities include the Pyeongchon Mega Center, Pyeongchon 2, Gasan, Sangam, Seocho, and Nonhyeon centers. LG Uplus is expanding its capabilities toward AI data centers, deploying direct-to-chip and immersion liquid cooling technologies for high-density AI workloads. Its Paju AI Data Center, scheduled for completion in 2027, is being developed as a 200 MW hyperscale facility. The company is targeting substantial growth in AI infrastructure services.
