Sunly and Magnora Data Center are partnering to develop the Risti data center campus in western Estonia through a 50:50 joint venture, Risti Kampus OÜ. Announced in September 2026, the project is planned to deliver 180 MW initially, with potential expansion to 400 MW subject to grid infrastructure upgrades. Located approximately 60 kilometres south of Tallinn, the site has access to a substation with 180 MW of available capacity and strong fibre connectivity to Helsinki. The campus is designed to benefit from Sunly’s adjacent renewable energy park, combining solar generation, battery storage and planned wind power. Sunly leads local execution and energy development, while Magnora Data Center manages commercial strategy and customer engagement.
