AirTrunk Raigad 3GW Hyperscale Data Center Campus
Status: Pre-Construction / Land Allotment Phase (Letter of Intent signed) | Location: Raigad Pen Growth Centre, Pen Taluka, Maharashtra, India
Project Overview
AirTrunk’s massive $21 billion mega-campus in Raigad, Maharashtra, is set to become one of the largest single data center developments globally. Designed to support high-density cloud architectures and generative AI superclusters, the project represents a major expansion of hyperscale digital infrastructure in India. The campus is being developed to meet the rapidly growing demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and high-performance workloads that require enormous amounts of processing power, electricity, cooling capacity, and high-speed connectivity. Its large-scale architecture is expected to support advanced GPU deployments and other compute-intensive systems needed for next-generation AI applications. As generative AI continues to drive demand for specialized infrastructure, facilities such as AirTrunk’s Raigad campus are becoming increasingly important to the global technology ecosystem. The project also highlights India’s growing position as a strategic destination for hyperscale data center investment, supported by expanding digital demand, enterprise cloud adoption, and the increasing importance of AI infrastructure. With its unprecedented investment scale and focus on high-density computing, the Raigad mega-campus is expected to play a significant role in shaping the next phase of India’s data center and artificial intelligence infrastructure landscape.
