Sify Rushikonda Vizag 50MW AI-Hub Facility
Status: Under Construction | Location: Rushikonda–Madhurawada IT Park, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India
Project Overview
A strategic 3.6-acre high-density greenfield data center campus designed to support next-generation AI workloads through a highly integrated infrastructure model. The facility combines advanced, high-density computing architecture with an adjacent integrated Cable Landing Station (CLS), creating a powerful convergence of digital infrastructure and global connectivity. This configuration enables the data center to support demanding AI and high-performance computing workloads while benefiting from direct access to international subsea cable networks. By integrating the CLS into the broader campus ecosystem, the development can help reduce network latency, improve data transmission efficiency, and strengthen connectivity between regional and global digital markets. The high-density design is particularly suited to emerging AI applications that require substantial computing power, advanced cooling systems, and reliable access to high-capacity network infrastructure. The greenfield development approach also provides greater flexibility to incorporate modern power distribution, energy-efficient cooling, scalable data hall designs, and future-ready infrastructure from the outset. Together, the AI-focused data center and integrated cable landing infrastructure create a strategically positioned digital hub capable of supporting cloud platforms, hyperscale deployments, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, content delivery, and other bandwidth-intensive applications. This integrated model reflects the evolving direction of data center development, where computing capacity, connectivity, and geographic positioning are increasingly planned as a single strategic asset rather than as separate infrastructure components.
