Amazon AWS 2250 Rock House Road is an 80 MW hyperscale cloud and AI compute data center campus located at 2250 Rock House Road in Lithia Springs, Douglas County, Georgia. Developed and operated by Amazon Data Services, Inc., the facility is designed to support AWS cloud infrastructure and high-density computing requirements across the company’s US East infrastructure footprint. The multi-building development is purpose-built for scalable cloud computing, machine learning training, artificial intelligence workloads, and high-density enterprise hosting, providing substantial capacity for compute-intensive applications and data processing. Its cooling infrastructure incorporates closed-loop direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems, supporting the thermal management requirements of high-density computing environments where conventional air cooling can face capacity limitations. Power infrastructure includes dual high-voltage utility grid connections from Georgia Power, providing multiple electrical supply paths for the campus and supporting operational resilience. A 2N power redundancy configuration provides additional protection for critical IT systems by maintaining redundant power distribution paths. Network connectivity is supported through direct high-capacity dark fiber backhaul to regional Atlanta network hubs and AWS global fiber backbones, enabling high bandwidth connectivity for cloud services, data movement, and communication with broader AWS infrastructure. The campus is located within the West Atlanta data center corridor, an established digital infrastructure area supported by utility, fiber, and network connectivity. Its combination of 80 MW capacity, multi-building design, liquid cooling, redundant power infrastructure, and extensive fiber connectivity enables the facility to support large-scale cloud and AI computing workloads. The development also strengthens the concentration of hyperscale infrastructure in Douglas County and contributes to the region’s expanding capacity for cloud, machine learning, and enterprise digital services.
