Atman Warsaw-2 (WAW-2) Data Center: Carrier-Neutral Hub in Warsaw Business District
Status: Fully Operational Enterprise & Interconnection Facility | Location: 5 Konstruktorska St, 02-673 Warsaw, Poland
Project Overview
Atman Data Center Warsaw-2 (WAW-2) is a strategically located carrier-neutral colocation and network interconnection facility situated at 5 Konstruktorska Street in Warsaw's Mokotów business district, one of Poland's leading commercial and technology hubs. Designed to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performance digital infrastructure, the facility provides approximately 5 MW of critical IT power across 2,911 m² of net IT whitespace, supporting a diverse range of enterprise, financial, telecommunications, cloud, and government customers. WAW-2 offers flexible colocation services, including individual racks, dedicated cages, and private suites, enabling organizations to deploy mission-critical applications with scalable infrastructure that can accommodate future growth. The data center is engineered with highly resilient electrical and mechanical systems, incorporating redundant utility connections, advanced uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, standby backup generators, fault-tolerant power distribution, and precision cooling technologies to ensure continuous operations and high service availability. The facility supports high-density deployments of up to 10 kW per rack, making it well suited for virtualization platforms, private cloud environments, enterprise applications, artificial intelligence (AI), and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. WAW-2 has achieved EPI DCOS-4 certification, demonstrating compliance with internationally recognized standards for operational excellence, security, and data center management. Sustainability is a key feature of the facility, with operations powered entirely by renewable electricity, helping customers reduce the environmental impact of their digital infrastructure while supporting corporate sustainability objectives. As a major telecommunications hub, WAW-2 hosts a primary node of Atman's Thinx Internet Exchange (Thinx IX), providing low-latency traffic exchange and direct connectivity to internet service providers, content delivery networks, cloud platforms, and enterprise networks. Carrier-neutral access to multiple telecommunications operators and high-capacity fiber infrastructure enables resilient, diverse connectivity for hybrid cloud integration, disaster recovery, business continuity, and mission-critical communications. With its central location, robust infrastructure, renewable energy operations, and advanced interconnection capabilities, Atman Data Center Warsaw-2 plays a vital role in strengthening Poland's digital economy and reinforcing Warsaw's position as a leading data center and connectivity hub in Central and Eastern Europe.
