The region consists of three physically separated Availability Zones (AZs), each with redundant power, cooling, and physical security. This setup allows Thai organizations particularly in highly regulated sectors like banking (e.g., SCB, Bangkok Bank) and government to keep sensitive data within national borders while achieving single-digit millisecond latency. The investment is projected to contribute $10 billion to Thailand's GDP and support 11,000 local jobs annually. In 2026, the focus has shifted toward "Agentic AI" platforms, integrating AWS Trainium and Inferentia chips locally to support autonomous AI agents for the Thai market.
