BDx CGK1 Data Center Jakarta: 16MW Enterprise & Cloud Colocation Hub Indonesia

Status: Fully Operational Enterprise & Cloud Colocation Facility   |   Location: West Jakarta, Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia

Project Overview

BDx CGK1 is a strategically important carrier-neutral enterprise colocation and cloud interconnection data center located in West Jakarta, Indonesia, serving as one of the foundational facilities within BDx Indonesia's rapidly expanding digital infrastructure platform. Developed under the BDx Indonesia joint venture between BDx Data Centers and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, the facility delivers approximately 16 MW of critical IT capacity across nearly 12,000 m² of purpose-built data center space, providing highly resilient infrastructure for enterprises, hyperscale cloud providers, financial institutions, telecommunications operators, content delivery networks, and government organizations. Designed to meet the increasing demand for secure, low-latency, and scalable digital services, CGK1 offers carrier-neutral connectivity with access to multiple domestic and international network providers, enabling customers to build diverse and redundant network architectures while benefiting from flexible cross-connect and cloud interconnection services. The facility incorporates redundant power and cooling systems, advanced fire detection and suppression technologies, multi-layer physical security, continuous environmental monitoring, and 24/7 operational support to ensure high availability for mission-critical workloads. As part of BDx's interconnected Greater Jakarta ecosystem, which includes CGK1, CGK2, CGK3, CGK4, and CGK5, the data center enables seamless hybrid IT deployments, disaster recovery strategies, and multi-site business continuity for organizations operating across Indonesia. Its strategic location in Jakarta's primary commercial and technology hub allows customers to achieve low-latency connectivity to major business districts, internet exchanges, and cloud on-ramps while supporting digital transformation initiatives across banking, e-commerce, healthcare, manufacturing, media, and public sector industries. Through its scalable infrastructure, carrier-neutral ecosystem, and integration with BDx's regional platform, CGK1 plays a critical role in strengthening Indonesia's digital economy and supporting the country's accelerating adoption of cloud computing, AI, enterprise applications, and next-generation digital services.
