Status: Operational / Active High-Density & AI Expansion Phase | Location: Hans MΓΈller Gasmanns vei 9, 0594 Oslo, Norway
Bulk Infrastructure’s OS-IX (Oslo Internet Exchange) is Norway’s premier carrier-neutral data center and interconnection hub, strategically located just 7 km from Oslo City Center in one of the country’s most important digital infrastructure corridors. Delivering 14.4 MW of 2N redundant critical IT capacity across approximately 6,900 m² of technical whitespace, OS-IX serves as a central backbone for Norway’s digital ecosystem, routing more than 80% of the nation’s internet traffic. Designed to support mission-critical enterprise applications, cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI), and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads, the facility combines high availability, low-latency connectivity, and scalable infrastructure to meet the demands of modern digital operations. As a leading carrier-neutral facility, OS-IX provides direct access to more than 60 network service providers, enabling customers to build resilient and flexible connectivity architectures. The data center also hosts four major Internet Exchange points, including NIX, FIXO, NetNod, and DE-CIX, creating a powerful interconnection ecosystem for regional and international data exchange. Engineered for next-generation computing requirements, OS-IX supports high-density deployments with advanced cooling capabilities, including liquid cooling integration for AI accelerator systems and HPC environments. Sustainability is a core component of the facility’s operations, with the site powered by 100% renewable Nordic hydroelectric energy, helping customers achieve lower carbon footprints while maintaining high-performance infrastructure. With redundant power systems, advanced connectivity, and sustainable design principles, Bulk Infrastructure’s OS-IX provides a future-ready platform for enterprises, cloud providers, and technology companies seeking secure, efficient, and highly connected digital infrastructure in Northern Europe.
