CapitaLand BLR4 AI Data Center Bengaluru: 36MW High-Density Hyperscale Hub

Status: Under Construction / Active Development   |   Location: International Tech Park Bengaluru (ITPB) / Whitefield Industrial Area, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560066, India

Project Overview

CapitaLand Investment BLR4 AI Data Center Campus is a state-of-the-art 36 MW hyperscale facility strategically located in Whitefield, Bengaluru, one of India's most prominent technology and digital infrastructure hubs. Developed by CapitaLand Investment through CapitaLand India Trust, the campus is purpose-built to meet the rapidly growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, hyperscale colocation, and enterprise digital transformation workloads. Designed with a strong focus on scalability, energy efficiency, and operational resilience, BLR4 is engineered to support high-density GPU clusters and next-generation AI infrastructure requiring significantly higher power densities than conventional data centers. The facility is designed to accommodate advanced cooling technologies, including Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling (DLC) readiness, enabling efficient thermal management for AI servers while reducing overall energy consumption. Built in accordance with stringent international reliability, sustainability, and security standards, the campus incorporates redundant electrical systems, resilient mechanical infrastructure, advanced fire detection and suppression systems, and multiple layers of physical and cyber security. BLR4 also features diverse, multi-carrier fiber connectivity with redundant network paths, ensuring low-latency access and high availability for mission-critical applications. As part of CapitaLand's broader sustainability strategy, the campus is aligned with ambitious environmental goals, including the procurement of 100% renewable energy where feasible, improved Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), and reduced operational carbon emissions through energy-efficient building design and intelligent infrastructure management. Positioned within Bengaluru's thriving technology ecosystem, BLR4 provides enterprises, global cloud providers, AI innovators, and digital businesses with a highly reliable, future-ready platform capable of supporting the next generation of compute-intensive applications while offering the scalability required for long-term digital growth.
