MedOne Ramla Data Center Campus Israel: 38MW Underground Cloud & AI Hub

Status: Under Construction / Active Multi-Building Expansion   |   Location: Ramla, Central District, Israel

Project Overview

MedOne Ramla Campus is a flagship 38 MW underground hyperscale data center campus strategically located in Ramla (Ramle), Israel, serving as one of the country's most secure and resilient digital infrastructure facilities. Purpose-built to support hyperscale cloud providers, government agencies, defense organizations, financial institutions, and enterprise customers, the campus is constructed more than 15 meters below ground to provide exceptional protection against missile attacks, earthquakes, and other physical or geopolitical threats. Its hardened underground design ensures uninterrupted operations for mission-critical applications in one of the world's most demanding operating environments. The facility delivers up to 38 MW of scalable IT capacity and is engineered to accommodate high-density computing environments, supporting AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing workloads with rack densities ranging from 8 kW to more than 200 kW per rack. MedOne Ramla Campus features a highly resilient electrical infrastructure with N+1 and 2N redundancy options, multiple independent utility feeds, backup power systems, and the capability to operate autonomously for up to 72 hours in off-grid mode during prolonged utility outages. The campus also provides carrier-neutral connectivity through diverse fiber routes and direct access to major telecommunications providers, cloud platforms, and regional internet exchanges, enabling low-latency connectivity across Israel, Europe, and the Middle East. Advanced environmental monitoring, multilayer physical security, biometric access controls, and 24/7 operational management further enhance the reliability and protection of customer workloads. Combining military-grade resilience, high-performance infrastructure, energy-efficient operations, and scalable expansion capabilities, MedOne Ramla Campus plays a vital role in strengthening Israel's cloud ecosystem, digital economy, and national critical infrastructure while meeting the evolving demands of AI-driven and mission-critical computing environments.
