Project Overview

The Chief HD Building Data Center is a major carrier-neutral internet data center and interconnection facility operated by Chief Telecom Inc., a subsidiary of Chunghwa Telecom, located at No. 37, Lane 188, Ruiguang Road within Taipei City’s Neihu Technology Park. The facility plays an important role in Taiwan’s digital infrastructure ecosystem by providing colocation, network interconnection, telecommunications, cloud connectivity, and hosting services for enterprises, cloud service providers, content platforms, and network operators. Its carrier-neutral architecture enables customers to connect with multiple telecommunications carriers and network service providers, supporting flexible network configurations and direct access to diverse connectivity routes. A key component of the facility is its support for the Taiwan Internet Exchange (TIX), which provides an interconnection environment where participating networks can exchange internet traffic directly, helping improve routing efficiency and support lower-latency communications.
