Project Overview
The CloudHQ Lisses Data Center Campus, also known as the CDG Campus, is a major hyperscale development located in Lisses, south of Paris, France, representing an investment of more than €1 billion in next-generation digital infrastructure. The campus is designed around two twin data center buildings, CDG1 and CDG2, each providing approximately 74.4 MW of critical IT capacity, bringing the total planned capacity to around 148.8 MW. This substantial power footprint positions the development to support highly demanding workloads, including hyperscale cloud platforms, artificial intelligence foundation model training, high-performance computing, and large-scale enterprise applications. Its location within the wider Paris industrial corridor provides strategic access to the French capital’s major connectivity ecosystem, enterprise market, and regional network infrastructure while offering sufficient space for large-scale data center operations. A dedicated on-site 225 kV high-voltage utility substation is a key component of the campus infrastructure, providing the substantial electrical capacity required to operate high-density computing environments and support future scalability. The development also incorporates advanced closed-loop liquid cooling technology, an increasingly important infrastructure approach for AI and high-performance computing systems where conventional air cooling may not be sufficient for rising rack densities. By circulating cooling fluid through a closed system, the technology is designed to efficiently manage heat generated by high-performance computing equipment while reducing reliance on traditional cooling methods. With nearly 150 MW of planned critical IT capacity, dedicated high-voltage power infrastructure, advanced liquid cooling, and a strategic position near Paris, the CloudHQ Lisses Data Center Campus is positioned as a significant hyperscale platform for the next generation of cloud, AI, and enterprise computing requirements in France.
