CMC Telecom HCM2 Tan Thuan Data Center: 1,200 Rack Hub Ho Chi Minh City

Status: Operational   |   Location: CMC Creative Space Complex, Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, Tan Thuan Dong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Project Overview

CMC Telecom’s HCM2 Data Center (Tan Thuan DC) is a flagship carrier-neutral digital infrastructure facility located within the CMC Creative Space complex in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Designed as one of the country’s most advanced data center campuses, HCM2 spans approximately 10,000 m² and provides a purpose-built environment to support mission-critical workloads from banking, financial services, enterprises, OTT platforms, and hyperscale cloud providers. The facility is engineered with high availability, operational resilience, and security standards, becoming Vietnam’s first data center to achieve TVRA (Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessment) compliance along with Uptime Institute Tier III Design and Build certifications. HCM2 supports high-density deployments with rack power capacity of up to 20 kW per rack, enabling modern applications such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data analytics, and digital transformation services. The carrier-neutral facility offers extensive connectivity options, including direct cloud on-ramps to leading platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, while providing low-latency network access across Vietnam and Southeast Asia through diverse fiber connectivity. With advanced power infrastructure, robust security systems, scalable capacity, and enterprise-grade operations, CMC Telecom’s HCM2 Data Center plays a strategic role in strengthening Vietnam’s digital ecosystem and supporting the growing demand for reliable, high-performance data infrastructure in the region.
