CtrlS Chandan Valley Campus

Status: Under Construction (Phase 1 Development)   |   Location: Chandan Valley Industrial Park, near Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Project Overview

The CtrlS Chandan Valley Campus is positioned to be one of India's foremost hyperscale data center hubs, strategically located near the dynamic IT and business capital of Hyderabad. This monumental project underscores the rapid acceleration of India's digital infrastructure buildout, driven by unprecedented growth in cloud adoption, digital services, and the emerging demands of Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads. The campus, being developed by CtrlS Datacenters, will span a significant 40 acres and is designed for a massive total IT capacity of over 612 MW upon full buildout.

The facility is being engineered to meet the highest global standards, targeting a Rated-4 (Tier IV equivalent) design, which mandates continuous operation with maximum fault tolerance and redundancy in its critical systems. This high level of resilience is crucial for supporting mission-critical enterprise and hyperscale cloud operations. A key feature is the establishment of a dedicated Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) with an expandable capacity reaching up to an enormous 900 MW, securing the necessary power for this energy-intensive campus.

Recognizing the shift toward high-density computing driven by AI and machine learning, the campus incorporates next-generation cooling technologies. This includes provisions for advanced thermal management strategies such as Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) and even Immersion Cooling, alongside energy-efficient methods like Free Air-Cooling and the use of solar module facades. Construction commenced in September 2025, with the first phase anticipated to be operational by early 2027-2028. Strategically located within the Tier I city ecosystem of Hyderabad, the campus leverages the city's robust network connectivity and its status as a leading technology and economic center, ensuring the delivery of high-availability, low-latency, and future-ready digital infrastructure.
