Status: Operational / Fully Commissioned Hyperscale Node | Location: 459-3 Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, 08594, South Korea
The DCI Seoul 01 (Site Code: SEL01) is a hyperscale data center developed by DCI Data Centers, a Brookfield Asset Management portfolio company, in partnership with South Korean construction company DL E&C. Located at 459-3 Gasan-dong in Seoul’s Geumcheon District, the facility represents DCI’s entry into the South Korean digital infrastructure market and is positioned within the established Gasan technology and industrial cluster. The facility provides approximately 20 MW of critical IT load capacity and is designed to support cloud computing, enterprise applications, and high-density artificial intelligence workloads. Its infrastructure is configured to accommodate the increasing power and cooling requirements associated with modern GPU-based computing environments and other data-intensive applications. Designed around Tier III+ parameters, DCI Seoul 01 incorporates redundant infrastructure intended to support high availability and enable maintenance activities without requiring a shutdown of critical systems. The facility features dual-path dedicated utility connections, providing additional electrical resilience and reducing dependence on a single power route. Carrier-neutral meet-me rooms support interconnection with multiple telecommunications providers, allowing customers to establish diverse network connections and access a broader range of connectivity services. Its location in Gasan provides proximity to Seoul’s major enterprise, technology, telecommunications, and data center ecosystem, creating opportunities for low-latency connectivity with businesses and digital infrastructure providers across the metropolitan area. The facility is particularly suited to cloud-first deployments, AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, and enterprise colocation requirements where reliable power, resilient connectivity, and scalable capacity are essential. As demand for artificial intelligence and cloud services continues to expand in South Korea, DCI Seoul 01 adds strategically located hyperscale capacity to the Seoul market and strengthens the development of Gasan as a major digital infrastructure cluster. By combining substantial IT capacity, resilient utility infrastructure, carrier-neutral connectivity, and a strategic location, the facility provides a scalable platform for next-generation digital workloads.
