Digital Edge SEL3: $582M 60MW Incheon AI Hyperscale Hub

Status: Active / Under Heavy Structural Fabrication (Tracking June 2026)   |   Location: 422 Cheongcheon-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, Greater Seoul, South Korea

Project Overview

The Digital Edge SEL3 Data Center is a premier digital infrastructure asset under active execution in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, within the Greater Seoul metropolitan region. Serving as the second phase and final expansion piece of Digital Edge’s flagship 96 MW Bupyeong campus, SEL3 is purpose-built to absorb the extreme power density footprints and thermal loads generated by next-generation artificial intelligence hardware and massive public cloud platforms. Advancing rapidly through core structural civil works and high-voltage grid line setups in mid-2026, the project addresses the severe power-allocation constraints currently impacting South Korea's data center market. By extending Digital Edge's strategic alliance with leading local developer SK ecoplant who completed the operational 36 MW SEL2 facility on the same site SEL3 injects an independent 60 MW of IT load capacity into the area. The campus provides international hyperscalers and digital platforms with hyper-dense server layouts situated just 25 kilometers from Seoul's central business district.
