Project Overview

Digital Realty CPH3 is a flagship hyperscale and carrier-neutral colocation data center delivering approximately 14 MW of critical IT capacity at Industriparken 24 in Ballerup, located within the Greater Copenhagen metropolitan area of Denmark. As the largest multi-megawatt expansion of Digital Realty's Copenhagen Campus, which also includes CPH1 and CPH2, CPH3 provides nearly 7,000 square meters of highly scalable, enterprise-grade digital infrastructure designed to support hyperscale cloud deployments, enterprise IT environments, hybrid cloud architectures, artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and mission-critical business applications. Built to international standards for reliability, operational resilience, and energy efficiency, the facility incorporates redundant electrical and mechanical systems, advanced cooling technologies, high-density rack capabilities, intelligent infrastructure management, and comprehensive physical security to ensure continuous availability for demanding workloads. As an integral part of Digital Realty's global PlatformDIGITAL® ecosystem, CPH3 enables customers to seamlessly deploy and interconnect digital infrastructure across hundreds of data centers worldwide while leveraging ServiceFabric® orchestration for secure, automated, and low-latency connectivity. The facility offers direct access to more than 95 cloud providers, telecommunications carriers, and network service providers, in addition to connections with major Nordic internet exchanges, including DIX and Netnod, providing resilient carrier-neutral connectivity across Scandinavia, Europe, and international markets. Strategic access to regional and international subsea cable systems further strengthens Copenhagen's role as a key digital gateway between Northern Europe and the rest of the world.
