ESR SEL3 Data Center Campus South Korea: 60MW Hyperscale Cloud & AI Hub

Status: Active Development / Phased Hyperscale Buildout   |   Location: Bupyeong Industrial Complex, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, Greater Seoul, South Korea

Project Overview

ESR SEL3 Data Center Campus is a flagship hyperscale digital infrastructure facility delivering approximately 60 MW of critical IT capacity in the strategic Bupyeong industrial district of Incheon, within the Greater Seoul metropolitan area. Developed by ESR Group in partnership with STACK Infrastructure and operated through the Digital Edge platform, SEL3 significantly expands the Bupyeong data center campus to a combined operational capacity of approximately 96 MW, reinforcing its position as one of South Korea's largest hyperscale data center hubs. Purpose-built to support the rapidly increasing demands of artificial intelligence (AI), deep learning, hyperscale cloud computing, high-performance computing (HPC), and enterprise digital transformation, the facility is engineered to accommodate high-density rack deployments and next-generation GPU clusters. The campus features robust utility power infrastructure, resilient electrical distribution systems, and advanced energy-efficient cooling technologies designed to optimize performance while minimizing energy consumption for compute-intensive workloads. High floor loading capacity enables the installation of heavy AI and enterprise hardware, while flexible infrastructure supports future technology upgrades and expanding customer requirements. Strategically located near central Seoul, SEL3 provides ultra-low-latency connectivity to the capital's financial districts, technology clusters, and major enterprise markets through diverse carrier-neutral fiber networks and multiple telecommunications providers. The facility also incorporates comprehensive physical security, advanced fire detection and suppression systems, intelligent environmental monitoring, and redundant mechanical and electrical infrastructure to ensure maximum operational reliability and business continuity. Sustainability is integrated into the campus through energy-efficient building systems and environmentally responsible operational practices aligned with modern hyperscale standards. Combining scalable capacity, resilient infrastructure, high-density AI readiness, and exceptional connectivity, ESR SEL3 Data Center Campus provides a future-ready platform for hyperscale cloud providers, AI developers, financial institutions, telecommunications operators, and multinational enterprises seeking secure, high-performance digital infrastructure in one of Asia's leading technology markets.
