ePLDT VITRO Cavite Data Center Gateway Business Park General Trias Philippines

Status: Under Development / Announced   |   Location: H39C+W53, Canley Rd, Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines

Project Overview

The ePLDT VITRO Cavite Data Center, located within Gateway Business Park in General Trias, Cavite, serves as a major digital infrastructure hub for ePLDT and VITRO Inc. in the Philippines. Developed as a large-scale, multi-phase data center campus, the project represents a significant investment in the country’s expanding digital economy and is designed to support hyperscale cloud platforms, enterprise computing, artificial intelligence workloads, and high-density graphics processing unit deployments. The facility is described as providing 120 megawatts of gross utility capacity and 100 megawatts of critical IT capacity, enabling substantial compute expansion for cloud service providers and other technology-intensive customers. Electrical infrastructure is supplied through high-voltage utility connections from Manila Electric Company (Meralco), supported by modular static uninterruptible power supply systems configured in 2N redundant architectures. Emergency diesel generators provide additional backup capability and are designed to maintain critical operations during utility interruptions and grid fluctuations. To address the substantial thermal loads associated with high-density compute clusters, the campus incorporates advanced direct-to-chip liquid cooling alongside high-efficiency air-cooling systems engineered for reliable operation in the Philippines’ tropical climate. The cooling infrastructure is designed to support increasingly dense server configurations while maintaining stable operating conditions for AI and high-performance computing equipment. Strategically positioned in Cavite and within the wider Metro Manila digital ecosystem, the facility benefits from access to major telecommunications networks and established business infrastructure. As a carrier-neutral interconnection hub, the campus incorporates fiber entry infrastructure supporting connectivity to PLDT’s national network, other telecommunications operators, regional exchanges, and international subsea cable systems serving the Philippine archipelago. Its combination of large-scale capacity, resilient electrical systems, advanced cooling technologies, and extensive network connectivity positions ePLDT VITRO Cavite as an important component of the Philippines’ growing hyperscale and AI-ready data center landscape.
