Epoch Digital Yangpyeong-dong Data Center Seoul Actis

Status: Under Construction / Commissioning Target Q2 2026   |   Location: 77-80 Yangpyeong-dong 3(sam)-ga, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, 07440, South Korea

Project Overview

The Epoch Digital Yangpyeong-dong, also known as the Actis Seoul Data Centre, is a hyperscale data center developed by Actis through its dedicated Asian digital infrastructure platform, Epoch Digital, at 77-80 Yangpyeong-dong 3-ga in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, South Korea. Strategically located near the Yeouido business district and Mok-dong telecommunications corridor, the facility provides approximately 33,919 square meters of built area and around 26 MW of IT capacity. The multi-story mission-critical facility was developed to address the growing demand for large-scale digital infrastructure in the Seoul metropolitan market, where land availability and capacity constraints have increased pressure on existing data center clusters. Designed to Uptime Institute Tier III standards, the facility incorporates resilient infrastructure intended to support continuous operations and maintenance without interrupting critical IT services. Its average power density of approximately 12.5 kW per rack enables the deployment of modern enterprise and cloud computing equipment while providing greater capacity for increasingly demanding workloads. The facility is positioned to serve global cloud service providers, large technology companies, enterprise customers, and AI-driven platforms requiring scalable and reliable computing infrastructure in Seoul. Carrier-neutral connectivity and cross-connect capabilities enable customers to establish connections with multiple network providers, supporting low-latency communication with other data centers, cloud platforms, and telecommunications facilities across South Korea. Its location within Seoul’s established commercial and digital infrastructure ecosystem also provides proximity to major business centers and network routes, strengthening its role as an urban hyperscale facility. By combining substantial IT capacity, Tier III design, relatively high rack density, and carrier-neutral connectivity, the Epoch Digital Yangpyeong-dong Data Centre provides scalable infrastructure for cloud computing, artificial intelligence, enterprise applications, and other data-intensive workloads while contributing to the continued expansion of Seoul’s digital infrastructure capacity.
