Project Overview
Formally awarded as part of Singapore's strategic "Call for Application" (DC-CFA) and reinforced in March 2026, Equinix SG6 is a $260 million state-of-the-art facility designed to address the critical shortage of AI compute space in Southeast Asia. This 9-story "vertical" data center is engineered for high-density workloads, specifically supporting NVIDIA B200 (Blackwell) GPU clusters with rack densities reaching up to 100kW. Located in the Jalan Tukang cluster, it forms a high-connectivity "triangle" with Equinix’s existing SG2 and SG5 sites. SG6 is a pioneer in the Singapore Green Plan 2030, featuring a unique green facade, a rooftop garden, and naturally ventilated corridors. It is one of the first facilities to utilize vertical solar panels and is designed with an "AI-native" cooling architecture that replaces traditional chillers with advanced condenser water loops to support direct liquid cooling.
