Equinix Warsaw Data Center Campus WA4x

Status: Operational & Active Multi-Building Expansion   |   Location: ul. Krakowiaków 91/101, 02-255 Warsaw, Poland (WA4x Hyperscale / Campus Node)

Project Overview

Equinix’s Warsaw Data Center Campus, anchored by its flagship WA4x xScale facility, is the leading hyperscale digital infrastructure hub in Poland and the broader Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. Purpose-built to support the rapidly growing requirements of cloud hyperscalers, global content providers, financial institutions, and next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads, the campus delivers 19.2 MW of critical IT capacity within a highly resilient and scalable environment. The facility is designed to accommodate high-density rack deployments through advanced cooling technologies, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling readiness for AI GPU clusters and energy-efficient air-cooled free-cooling economisers that optimize thermal performance while reducing energy consumption. Operating on 100% certified renewable electricity backed by Guarantees of Origin (GoOs), the campus reflects Equinix’s commitment to sustainable digital infrastructure and lower carbon operations. WA4x is seamlessly interconnected with Equinix’s existing International Business Exchange (IBX) facilities WA1, WA2, and WA3 through a dedicated low-latency underground dark fibre network, enabling high-speed, resilient connectivity across the metropolitan area. Customers also benefit from direct access to the Equinix Internet Exchange Poland (formerly PLIX), global cloud on-ramps, and an extensive ecosystem of carriers, enterprises, and network service providers. This strategic combination of scalable power, advanced cooling, renewable energy, and carrier-neutral connectivity positions the Warsaw campus as a critical gateway for digital transformation, cloud expansion, and AI infrastructure growth across Central and Eastern Europe.
