Unlike conventional real estate-focused data centers that prioritize commercial space availability, this highly specialized facility is purpose-built directly along EXA’s major dark fiber routes crossing France and connecting key European markets. Located within the ZI Le Cheminet industrial zone, the site performs a critical operational role in maintaining the integrity, speed, and reliability of trans-European digital traffic flows. As a secure and continuously monitored optical amplification station, the facility ensures minimal signal degradation and uninterrupted performance for high-capacity international data transmission across Western Europe. In addition to its network amplification capabilities, the site also functions as a low-latency edge data center designed to support modern digital infrastructure demands.
