FPT Fornix HCM01 Data Center: Tier III Colocation Hub in Ho Chi Minh City
Status: Fully Operational Hyperscale & Enterprise Facility | Location: 29B-31B-33B Tan Thuan Street (Units 37-39A, Road 19-22), Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Project Overview
FPT Fornix HCM01 is a flagship Tier III constructed data center operated by FPT Telecom and strategically located within the Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As one of FPT Telecom’s premier digital infrastructure facilities, HCM01 has been developed to support the rapidly growing demand for cloud computing, enterprise digital transformation, financial technology, government modernization, and mission-critical IT services across Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asian region. The facility spans eight floors and offers approximately 1,680 m² of dedicated IT whitespace with capacity for up to 1,250 server racks, providing highly scalable colocation, managed hosting, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and disaster recovery solutions for government agencies, financial institutions, multinational corporations, telecommunications operators, and global cloud service providers. Designed and constructed in accordance with internationally recognized Tier III standards, the data center delivers concurrently maintainable infrastructure that enables planned maintenance without interrupting customer operations, ensuring high levels of service availability and operational resilience. HCM01 incorporates highly redundant electrical and mechanical systems, including 2N uninterruptible power supply (UPS) architecture, resilient utility connections, standby backup generators, fault-tolerant power distribution, and precision cooling technologies that maintain optimal operating conditions for both standard and high-density computing environments. The facility is engineered to support virtualization platforms, artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), big data analytics, and other compute-intensive enterprise workloads while maintaining efficient energy performance. Comprehensive physical security measures including biometric access controls, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, environmental monitoring, and advanced fire detection and suppression systems provide multiple layers of protection for critical customer infrastructure. Through direct integration with FPT Telecom’s nationwide fiber-optic backbone and international network gateways, HCM01 delivers low-latency connectivity to domestic and global internet exchanges, cloud platforms, and enterprise networks, enabling seamless hybrid cloud integration, private networking, disaster recovery, and business continuity services. As a cornerstone of FPT Telecom’s data center portfolio, Fornix HCM01 strengthens Vietnam’s digital infrastructure ecosystem and reinforces Ho Chi Minh City’s position as a leading technology and connectivity hub supporting the country’s long-term digital economy and cloud adoption initiatives.
