Project Overview

NTT GDC – Ho Chi Minh City 1 Data Center (HCMC1) is a purpose-built hyperscale data center strategically located within Saigon Hi-Tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Developed by NTT Global Data Centers through a joint venture with QD.TEK, the facility represents a significant investment in Vietnam's rapidly expanding digital infrastructure and supports the country's growing demand for cloud computing, enterprise digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and mission-critical IT services. Situated approximately 15 kilometers from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, HCMC1 provides an ideal balance between urban connectivity and secure campus operations while offering convenient access to major business districts, telecommunications infrastructure, and transportation networks. The facility delivers approximately 6 MW of critical IT capacity across a five-story building with around 5,000 m² of purpose-built data center space, providing scalable colocation solutions for hyperscale cloud providers, multinational enterprises, financial institutions, telecommunications operators, and technology companies. Designed to accommodate high-density computing environments, HCMC1 supports cloud platforms, AI training and inference workloads, machine learning applications, high-performance computing (HPC), and large-scale enterprise systems. The data center incorporates highly resilient electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including redundant utility connections, advanced uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, standby backup generators, fault-tolerant power distribution, redundant water-cooled chiller systems, precision environmental controls, and cold aisle containment to maximize cooling efficiency while reducing energy consumption. Comprehensive physical security measures  including biometric access controls, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, environmental monitoring, and advanced fire detection and suppression systems provide multiple layers of protection for customer infrastructure. As a carrier-neutral facility, HCMC1 offers diverse connectivity to multiple telecommunications providers, cloud platforms, and enterprise networks, enabling low-latency interconnection, hybrid cloud integration, disaster recovery, and business continuity services. As part of NTT Global Data Centers' international portfolio, HCMC1 strengthens Vietnam's digital ecosystem, enhances Ho Chi Minh City's position as a leading technology hub in Southeast Asia, and provides future-ready infrastructure capable of supporting the continued growth of cloud services, AI innovation, and enterprise digital transformation throughout the region.
