Status: Operational / Strategic AI Flagship Facility | Location: 34 Gwacheon-daero 7na-gil, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, 13840, South Korea
The Gabia Gwacheon Data Centre is an AI-optimized enterprise colocation and cloud infrastructure facility owned and operated by Gabia Inc. at 34 Gwacheon-daero 7na-gil in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Completed in mid-2024, the facility serves as a core infrastructure hub for Gabia’s cloud platform, supporting GPU-intensive workloads, generative AI applications, enterprise cloud services, and high-performance computing (HPC) requirements across the Greater Seoul region. Spanning more than 54,000 square meters of total floor space, the Tier III-certified facility provides approximately 14 MW of critical IT load capacity and is designed to support a wide range of enterprise and high-density computing requirements. Its flexible infrastructure accommodates deployments ranging from 2 kW low-power cabinets to high-density GPU environments, allowing customers to scale their computing infrastructure according to workload requirements. The facility also incorporates precision and liquid-cooling capabilities to manage the higher thermal loads generated by modern GPU-intensive systems while improving overall cooling efficiency. The data center is integrated with network infrastructure provided by KINX, Gabia’s affiliated company and a major neutral Internet Exchange operator in South Korea, enabling customers to access diverse carriers, cloud platforms, and digital networks. This connectivity supports multi-cloud interconnection and helps enterprises establish efficient links between their private infrastructure and major cloud environments. Its location in Gwacheon provides convenient access to Seoul and the wider metropolitan technology ecosystem, supporting low-latency connectivity for businesses and digital service providers. By combining scalable IT capacity, flexible power configurations, advanced cooling technologies, Tier III infrastructure, and strong network connectivity, the Gabia Gwacheon Data Centre is positioned to support South Korea’s growing demand for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, enterprise applications, and high-performance digital infrastructure.
