GDS International Nusajaya Johor Data Center Campus: 225MW+ Hyperscale & AI Hub

Status: Fully Operational / Active Multi-Building Expansion   |   Location: 1, Persiaran Teknologi Perintis, Taman Teknologi Johor, 79200 Iskandar Puteri, Johor Darul Ta'zim, Malaysia

Project Overview

GDS International’s Nusajaya Tech Park (NTP) Data Center Campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru, is a flagship hyperscale digital infrastructure hub strategically positioned to serve Southeast Asia’s rapidly growing cloud, artificial intelligence, and enterprise markets. Delivering more than 225 MW of critical IT capacity across a 110,000 m² campus, the development is purpose-built to accommodate hyperscale cloud providers, global internet companies, content platforms, financial institutions, and high-performance AI/HPC computing environments requiring scalable, resilient infrastructure. Located immediately adjacent to Singapore, the campus benefits from cross-border dark fiber connectivity that enables ultra-low-latency access to Singapore’s financial district, cloud ecosystems, and regional internet exchanges while leveraging Malaysia’s greater availability of land, power, and long-term expansion opportunities. Designed for next-generation computing, the campus is engineered to support high-density rack deployments and incorporates liquid-cooling readiness to meet the thermal requirements of advanced GPU-based AI and machine learning workloads. As part of GDS International’s regional expansion strategy, the facility also integrates energy-efficient infrastructure and sustainable power initiatives to improve operational performance and environmental responsibility. Supported by carrier-neutral connectivity, resilient electrical and cooling systems, advanced physical security, and continuous infrastructure monitoring, the Nusajaya Tech Park campus serves as a critical gateway for digital transformation, cloud expansion, and AI infrastructure deployment across Southeast Asia.
