Project Overview

GTR London GB One Campus is a 40.5 MW critical IT capacity data center development at 654-662 Ajax Avenue on the Slough Trading Estate in Slough, United Kingdom, master-planned as three independent multi-story facilities comprising Building 1, Building 2, and Building 3. Each building provides 13.5 MW of IT load and more than 57,800 sq ft, or 5,373 m², of net technical whitespace, creating a scalable platform for high-density hyperscale, cloud, and AI computing deployments. Backed by KKR infrastructure capital, the campus combines substantial power capacity with a multi-building design that allows computing infrastructure to be deployed across separate facilities while supporting the requirements of large-scale customers. Electrical resilience is provided through an N+1 block-redundant static UPS topology, while eco-chiller units with airside economization provide cooling flexibility and can use suitable external conditions to support efficient thermal management. The campus is supplied with 100% renewable grid power, aligning its energy strategy with customer sustainability requirements, while hydrogen-ready standby generators provide a pathway for future alternative-fuel deployment in backup power systems. Connectivity infrastructure includes dual carrier-neutral Meet-Me-Rooms, enabling access to multiple network providers and interconnection services. Subterranean dark fiber interconnects extend connectivity to London’s primary internet exchanges, supporting low-latency access for cloud platforms, enterprise networks, hyperscale applications, and data-intensive AI workloads. The combination of 40.5 MW of critical IT capacity, three independent buildings, extensive technical whitespace, resilient power architecture, renewable electricity, flexible cooling, and high-capacity connectivity positions the campus as a significant addition to the established Slough data center environment.
