Project Overview

CyrusOne Slough Campus is a 36 MW critical IT load hyperscale data center development comprising two adjacent facilities, LON4 at 225B Bath Road and LON5 at 225C Bath Road in Slough, United Kingdom. The campus provides more than 172,000 sq ft, or 15,978 m², of technical whitespace across two two-story buildings, creating substantial capacity for ultra-dense colocation deployments in the West London market. Designed for hyperscale cloud providers, financial services organizations, and AI training workloads, the campus combines large-scale power infrastructure with high-density technical space to support compute-intensive applications. Its active/active 27 MVA dual-redundant power feeds provide resilient electrical connectivity to the facilities, supporting continuous operations for customers with demanding availability requirements. Closed-loop, zero-water air-cooled chillers provide thermal management while eliminating ongoing water consumption for the cooling process, supporting resource-efficient facility operations. The campus is also supplied with 100% renewable grid energy, aligning its power strategy with sustainability objectives and customer requirements for lower-carbon digital infrastructure. Connectivity is supported through dual Meet-Me-Rooms, providing access to multiple carriers and network providers, while low-latency dark fiber connectivity to London’s primary internet exchanges supports responsive access to cloud platforms, financial networks, enterprise systems, and other data-intensive services. The two-building configuration provides deployment flexibility while the combined 36 MW IT capacity supports large-scale requirements across hyperscale and high-density computing environments. Located within Slough’s established data center cluster, the campus also benefits from proximity to London’s broader digital infrastructure ecosystem, making its power, cooling, technical whitespace, and connectivity capabilities relevant to customers deploying demanding cloud, financial, and AI workloads.
