Iron Mountain’s AMS-1 is a flagship 23-acre digital infrastructure campus located in Haarlem, approximately 20 kilometers from central Amsterdam, within the highly connected FLAP (Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, and Paris) digital corridor. As one of the few active hyperscale data center expansion projects in the Amsterdam metropolitan region, AMS-1 plays a critical role in meeting the increasing demand for cloud computing, enterprise colocation, and artificial intelligence infrastructure. The ongoing expansion significantly increases the campus’s capabilities, scaling its operational footprint from 13.1 MW to approximately 43.1 MW of total utility capacity while adding new high-density technical space designed for next-generation digital workloads.
