Khazna AUH2.4 Abu Dhabi Data Center: Hyperscale Expansion Hub in UAE
Status: Fully Operational Hyperscale Facility / Campus Phase Expansion | Location: Zayed Military City - Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates
Project Overview
Khazna AUH2.4 is an advanced hyperscale cloud data center facility forming part of Khazna Data Centers' expanding Mohammed Bin Zayed (MBZ) City campus in Abu Dhabi. Developed to address the accelerating demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), sovereign digital infrastructure, and enterprise transformation across the Middle East, AUH2.4 provides highly scalable, modular whitespace designed to support hyperscale cloud providers, government organizations, financial institutions, and large enterprises with mission-critical workloads. The facility is engineered to deliver flexible capacity expansion through modular deployment, enabling customers to rapidly scale their IT infrastructure while maintaining exceptional levels of availability, resilience, and operational efficiency. Built to Tier III standards, AUH2.4 incorporates fault-tolerant infrastructure with resilient 2N electrical architecture, redundant utility feeds, high-efficiency UPS systems, and backup generators that ensure continuous operations during planned maintenance and unexpected power events. Advanced chilled-water cooling technology provides efficient thermal management for high-density computing environments while reducing energy consumption and improving overall operational performance. The facility is also designed with Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling (DLC) readiness, allowing it to accommodate next-generation AI clusters, high-performance computing (HPC), machine learning platforms, and GPU-intensive workloads that require significantly higher rack power densities than traditional enterprise deployments. Comprehensive physical security measures, including biometric access controls, continuous CCTV monitoring, environmental monitoring systems, and advanced fire detection and suppression technologies, safeguard customer infrastructure and ensure secure operations. Strategically connected through high-speed fiber backhaul to the UAE's leading telecommunications operators, internet exchanges, and global cloud platforms, AUH2.4 delivers ultra-low-latency connectivity for hybrid cloud integration, disaster recovery, business continuity, and private network services. As an important component of Khazna's flagship Abu Dhabi hyperscale campus, AUH2.4 strengthens the UAE's digital infrastructure ecosystem, supporting national ambitions for AI innovation, sovereign cloud development, digital transformation, and long-term economic diversification while reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a leading regional hub for next-generation data center services.
