Project Overview
KIO Querétaro 2 (QRO2) is a flagship hyperscale data center facility delivering approximately 12 MW of critical IT capacity within Parque Industrial El Marqués in Querétaro, one of Mexico's fastest-growing digital infrastructure markets. Developed by KIO Networks, the facility is purpose-built to support the rapidly increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI), hyperscale cloud computing, enterprise applications, high-performance computing (HPC), and mission-critical digital services. With the addition of QRO2, KIO expands its total operational capacity in the Querétaro region to nearly 19 MW, strengthening its position as one of the country's leading data center providers. Constructed as a sustainable greenfield development, the campus is engineered to international standards for reliability, operational resilience, and energy efficiency while providing scalable infrastructure capable of supporting future technology requirements. The facility features an N+1 concurrently maintainable electrical architecture, ensuring continuous operations through redundant power distribution systems, backup generation, and resilient mechanical infrastructure.
