Nabiax Alcalá Madrid Campus: 100MW Hyperscale Data Center Expansion
Status: Operational / Active Multi-Phase Hyperscale Expansion | Location: Av. Punto Com, 23, 28805 Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain
Project Overview
Nabiax’s Alcalá Data Center (ADC) Campus is Spain’s flagship hyperscale data center campus, strategically located in Alcalá de Henares, approximately 20 km from Madrid-Barajas Airport, making it one of Southern Europe’s most important digital infrastructure hubs. The campus currently delivers 22.3 MW of operational IT capacity and has a long-term master plan to expand up to 100 MW, providing significant scalability for hyperscale cloud providers, multinational enterprises, and AI-driven computing environments. Serving as a key gateway for digital services across Southern Europe, the campus is purpose-built to support mission-critical cloud infrastructure, high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence, and large-scale enterprise workloads. Its primary facility, ADC1, is designed to Tier IV Gold operational standards, offering the highest levels of redundancy, resilience, and operational reliability, while future expansion phases (ADC2 and beyond) adopt a modular Tier III architecture to enable rapid, flexible growth. The campus features a carrier-neutral ecosystem with direct connectivity to more than 15 leading network operators, along with low-latency cross-connects to Spain’s major internet exchanges, including ESpanix and MESIX, ensuring excellent regional and international connectivity. Powered entirely by 100% renewable electricity, the campus reflects Nabiax’s commitment to sustainable digital infrastructure while supporting customers’ environmental goals. Combined with advanced security, resilient power and cooling systems, and scalable infrastructure, the Alcalá Data Center Campus provides a future-ready platform for cloud providers, enterprises, and AI innovators seeking secure, high-performance colocation and connectivity in the rapidly expanding Iberian data center market.
